What is a Tax Look Back you ask? It's an opportunity to have your past three personal tax returns reviewed for accuracy. Using a hybrid format, you'll upload your returns and all supporting documents to a secure cloud location and then we'll meet to review your returns. If any changes are necessary, we'll discuss the steps to amend your prior tax return(s).

Here are some things to know before you begin:

  • You typically have three years from the date you filed your return to file an amendment.

  • You must wait until your return has been accepted before amending your return.

  • Changes made to your federal return typically flow through and require an amended state return as well.

Schedule an appointment and let's discuss your questions and determine if an amended return is right for your tax situation.
